It has a glass front protected with Gorilla Glass, an aluminum back frame, and plastic back magnetic stylus supports. For the Pad 5 color, it offers the Cosmic Gray and Pearl white colors, but the color availability might be different between regions.
For the Xiaomi Pad 5 pro that will come in later December, So far, there is not much difference from its initial design.
